Acorns
A calm, cosy nest for our youngest, where days follow each baby's own rhythm: naps, milk and cuddles included.
1 adult : 3 children Peek inside Acorns →Willow Row is an independent, Ofsted-registered day nursery in the heart of Norwich, caring for children from birth to four, with food cooked fresh in our kitchen, a much-loved garden, and a small team who genuinely know every child.
Children move up through Willow Row at their own pace, with familiar faces at every step, and the garden belongs to everyone.

1 adult : 3 children Peek inside Acorns →Busy hands and big feelings. Saplings is built for climbing, painting, puddle-splashing and growing independence.
1 adult : 4 children Peek inside Saplings →Our pre-schoolers get gently ready for school through play: stories, early phonics, numbers and lots of questions.
1 adult : 8 children Peek inside Big Oaks →Every day has a gentle shape to it: enough routine to feel safe, enough freedom to feel like childhood.
A soft start with porridge, fruit and toast for early arrivals.
Children choose where the morning takes them: book corner, blocks, or the mud kitchen.
Songs, stories and (for Big Oaks) a little playful phonics with their key person.
Out in all weathers. Wellies and waterproofs live here for a reason.
A proper hot meal from our own kitchen, eaten together around the table.
Naps for those who need them, calm corners and soft music for those who don't.
Messy play, baking, junk modelling. The afternoon is for getting stuck in.
A lighter cooked tea, so children go home fed and happy.
Cosy corners, favourite books, and time to potter as the day softens.
A proper handover: what they ate, how they slept, and what made them laugh.
Leaving Martha at eight months felt enormous. The Acorns team learned her nap song in her first week. That told me everything I needed to know.
Freddie runs in without a backwards glance, which stung for about a day and now feels like the biggest compliment a nursery could earn.
Big Oaks made the school transition feel easy. Amara started reception confident, curious and already in love with books.
We close for bank holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year.
Book the same sessions each week, mix and match mornings and afternoons, or use a school-day session that mirrors a primary school run.
Visits happen during a normal nursery morning, so you'll see Willow Row exactly as your child would: mid-song, mid-story, probably mid-mess.
